Partial Differential Equations Seminar II

AREA SCIENCE:

APPLIED MATHEMATICS

Workshop:

Partial Differential Equations and Applications

RE-Start: 20 May 2009 nde: Wednesday: 9:00 am

Local: Conf Room, Department of Mathematics, UNT

OBJECTIVES: is an introductory course on partial differential equations and their applications to be developed in a sustained and thoughtful, determining additional requirements in order to understand analytical qualitative and quantitative concepts, basic training is required but not compulsory for ordinary differential equations and some elementary notions of partial differential equations, such as the method of characteristics and separation of variables. Here we introduce the techniques of real and functional analysis and operator theory to obtain results more ambitious the existence of solutions and compare them with conventional techniques.

METHODOLOGY: The course will be based on the statement of the issues by participating teachers. An important aspect will correspond to the problems of implementation as an exercise is proposed, which constitute in many cases, complement the exhibition and a rating tool.

is approaching end of the year and many of my students must-dos. From now on I will try to introduce activities that you may review.

take this opportunity to see how this activity blog.Hace HotPotatoes within the time I wanted to try this, since the end of the virtual workshop "Internet in the Classroom." I learned a lot. Will there again this year ...?
