Partial Differential Equations and Applications
RE-Start: 20 May 2009 nde: Wednesday: 9:00 am
OBJECTIVES: is an introductory course on partial differential equations and their applications to be developed in a sustained and thoughtful, determining additional requirements in order to understand analytical qualitative and quantitative concepts, basic training is required but not compulsory for ordinary differential equations and some elementary notions of partial differential equations, such as the method of characteristics and separation of variables. Here we introduce the techniques of real and functional analysis and operator theory to obtain results more ambitious the existence of solutions and compare them with conventional techniques.
METHODOLOGY: The course will be based on the statement of the issues by participating teachers. An important aspect will correspond to the problems of implementation as an exercise is proposed, which constitute in many cases, complement the exhibition and a rating tool.
